Magic with Kate Shela
With Kate Shela
July 17 - 19, 2026
Join us at The Horse Shoe Farm July 17th – 19th for a weekend of MAGIC with Kate Shela.
We are not who we think we are.
We keep forgetting.
This is the magic trick.
We are the magic.
We are technicolor, multi-dimensional beings.
Our body is the original magic.
We dance to remember.
Miracles can happen on the dance floor.
Ask your body and you shall receive.
No gimmicks or tricks.
No rabbits from hats.
No scarves or cards.
Simply embodied magic as our poetic pathway.
Over the course of this intimate retreat, Kate Shela invites you into a living, breathing exploration of your body as oracle, artist, and guide.
Through daily movement journeys, immersive music, and spacious time for reflection, you’ll be guided to listen beneath the surface—into sensation, intuition, and the deep knowing of the body. This is not about learning choreography or getting it “right,” but about softening into curiosity and allowing movement to reveal what words cannot.
This workshop is open to dance devotees and newcomers.
Each day unfolds with gentle openings, expressive dance, moments of quietude, and integration.
Together, we will tend to what is present—personally and collectively—creating space for insight, release, and unexpected clarity.
You May Find Yourself:
- Reconnecting to your body’s innate wisdom
- Moving through stuck places with creativity and compassion
- Discovering new pathways for expression and self-trust
- Experiencing moments of joy, release and deep rest
- Feeling more alive, coherent, and connected to your essence
- Re-discover parts of yourself that have gone missing
This simple equation becomes our shared language: Movement + Music = Magic
We will show up with kindness and care, tending to the threads of our lives.
We will laugh— we may cry.
We will move, mend, and rest in ways that allow our essence to vibrate with clarity and vitality.
Held within the nourishing landscape of The Horse Shoe Farm, you’ll be supported by the quiet wisdom of the land—rolling hills, open skies, and spaces designed for restoration. Between sessions, you’ll have time to wander, rest, connect, and integrate—allowing the work on the dance floor to ripple into every layer of your being.
